In 2024, UBC Okanagan Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) and TRU Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) collaborated on the inaugural Thompson-Okanagan Teaching and Learning conference (TOTLC) to advance teaching and learning practices in our region.
This year Okanagan College’s Department of Teaching and Learning Innovations (TLI) is delighted to join UBCO and TRU to collaborate on this initiative. TLI will proudly host the conference at Okanagan College, Kelowna Campus, on the traditional lands of the Syilx Okanagan Nation/People. The conference will be entirely in person.
Our theme this year is Innovations in Teaching and Learning: Scholarship and Practice. We invite you to consider the ways pedagogical innovations shape learners’ experiences within your disciplines.
Presenters/facilitators are encouraged to demonstrate or discuss all facets of their research and/or practice in a variety of different modes (see Presenter Guidelines).
