Live Lecture Streaming Podium: I am Not a Cat, a solo exhibition by the SCA's Judy Radul at the Plug In Institute of Contemporary Art​ (460 Portage Ave., Unit 1, Winnipeg), opens February 24, 2024, at 6:00 PM, and runs to April 21. Also, Radul is leading Plug In's Winter Institute 2024: Will It Work, How Does it Work, Is it Working, running February 20 – 25, which features a series of lectures by guest faculty, including one by SCA PhD student Dave Biddle. The New Daydream Imaginary online

Videos for (most of) the presenters at the IdleLab's 2023 Conference, The New Daydream Imaginary: On the Ethico-Aesthetics of Spontaneous Thought, including by SCA PhD student Dave Biddle, SCA alumnus Mena El Shazly, SCA Associate Member Am Johal, and the SCA's Eldritch Priest, who, with Biddle, organized the conference, are now online. The Idle Lab is "a research fiction" led by the Priest that aims to "support the study of experimental art, thought, and culture, with a focus on mind wandering and daydreaming as both an object of study and a method for critical analysis." Great SCA representation performing in and behind-the-scenes of Lobe Studio's (713 E. The Small File Media Festival is partnering with allthingy, "a multi-purpose roadside production and presentation platform constructed through a design-build training process led by artists Germaine Koh and Cedric Bomford," to present a "Smallthingy program" at 270 Trustees Trail, Salt Spring Island, from March 1 – 3, 2024. SCA alumnus Salome Nieto and other Kokoro dancers are participating in the Vancouver International Dance Festival's VIDF Jazz Jams, which run February 28 – March 2 & March 6 – 9, at 10:00 PM at the KW Production Studio (111 W. Also, Kokoro Dance, which includes SCA alumnus Barbara Bourget, are holding a VIDF Master Class on Saturday, March 9, from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM, also at the KW Production Studio.
