Biography
I am interested in studying citizen engagement in planning for conservation, especially on private property. Specifically, for my major research paper, I am working with the Xwe’etay / Lasqueti Archaeology Project, where I am conducting interviews with landowners on Lasqueti Island, BC, to understand landowners' knowledge, concerns, and values regarding archaeological sites on private property and the laws and policies that impact these sites.
