Dana Hayden
Biography
Dana is a seasoned corporate Director. Since 2014 she has also provided consulting services to public, private and NFP organizations in strategic and business planning, governance, resource development, and public infrastructure development. Dana has extensive experience in all 3 pillars of corporate sustainability: environmental, social responsibility and governance.
Dana is Chair of the Board of Infrastructure B.C. and a Director on the Board of Mosaic Forest Management where she chairs the Governance and Nominations committee. Dana also chairs the SFU Beedie School of Business Advisory Committee and is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors Victoria executive.
Dana held 6 Deputy Minister positions and was President and CEO of 3 Crown Corporations during her 30-year career with the B.C. government. Dana has a B.Sc. in Forest Science, a M.Sc. in Natural Resource Economics, and is a Chartered Director (C. Dir). Dana received the King Charles III Coronation medal for service to the public of British Columbia in 2024, was inducted into Canada's 100 Most Powerful Women Hall of Fame in 2016 and received the Vancouver Influential Women in Business award in 2014.
