Alumni
As a SFU Beedie graduate, you make our alumni community exceptional. That’s why we encourage you to attend events, leverage exclusive alumni resources, and stay connected to the SFU Beedie community. When you graduated from the SFU Beedie School of Business, you joined a community of over 32,000 alumni living across the globe, a community known for being innovative, socially responsible and globally minded.
Get involved
Remember how great it felt as a student to receive support and encouragement from alumni?
Now is your chance to do the same for a current student. We’ve created opportunities designed with you in mind, so that regardless of your availability and level of commitment, you’re able to give back and contribute positively to the student experience.
Mentors in Business program
Volunteer your time over six months and provide one-on-one mentoring for undergraduate or graduate level students looking for career advice.
Case competitions
Alumni are integral to our case competition coaching strategy and our students’ success. Each year, alumni volunteer more than 3,000 hours of their time.
- Undergraduate: Volunteer through our Case Competition Training Program (CCTP) and the Beedie flagship case competitions, PEAK and ELITE. Sign up to be a judge, guest speaker or coach and support our students. Contact the Undergraduate Student Engagement and Development Office to get involved.
- Graduate: Contact the Graduate Student Engagement Office for graduate-level competitions.

Become an Alumni Ambassador
- Grow your community. At SFU Beedie, we are interested in meeting people who you think would be successful in our graduate programs. We’ve always found that many of our best students come from alumni recommendations. If you think someone in your network would make a great candidate, please let us know!
- Register to be one of this year's Alumni Ambassadors for your program. You know better than anyone that choosing a graduate program is a life changing decision; hearing from alumni helps students understand what the SFU Beedie experience is all about. If you're interested, please fill out our registration form or email bsbar@sfu.ca for more information.
