Biography

Zach is currently a PhD Student at the Beedie School of Business, specializing in Management and Organizational Studies under the supervision of Dr. Lieke ten Brummelhuis. His research interests are related to employee well-being, including mental health, employee support programs, work-life balance, and diffusion of help-seeking behaviour. Zach’s current project focuses on the help-seeking behaviour of first responders regarding mental health treatment, with a specific focus on the factors which influence the formation of a help-seeking intention. In addition to his research and teaching work, Zach also volunteers as an instructor for the MBA Case Competition Training Program at SFU Beedie, as well as a coach for the MBA Games and case competition teams. Zach previously obtained an MBA from the Beddie School of Business and a BA in psychology at the University of Saskatchewan. Zach’s professional background includes experience in operations management, as well as teaching and curriculum development.
