Evaleen Jaager Roy
Biography
Evaleen Jaager Roy advises CEOs and organizations on strategy and leadership.Her clients include some of the most successful companies in technology, gaming, architecture, medical research, investment and sustainability. Prior to starting her own company, she served as Vice President of Human Resources for Electronic Arts (EA), helping to build the industry in BC and leading the function in Canada, across Europe and for a global division. Prior to EA, Evaleen was HR Director for Westcoast Energy and she began her career in Finance in the US auto sector. Evaleen has served on the Board of Emily Carr University of Art + Design for six years, five of them as Chair. She is recognized as an outstanding Alumnus from Simon Fraser University, is a Vancouver Influential Business Woman Award winner as well as recipient of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal. In 2014, Evaleen was appointed to the Board of the Banff Centre – the world’s largest arts and creativity incubator – and to the Board of the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada. She is the previous Chair of the Board at Simon Fraser University (the first alumni to be elected to this role) and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BBA (Hons) from Simon Fraser.
