Ilan Alon

Biography

Ilan Alon is Professor and Dean of the School of Economics, College of Management Academic Studies. He was also Professor of Strategy and International Marketing at the University of Agder (UiA, Norway), Visiting Otto Mønsted Professor for International Business at the Copenhagen Business School (CBS, Denmark), and Leading Research Fellow at Higher School of Economics (HSE, Russia).He is also Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Emerging Markets and the European Journal of International Management. Ilan Alon’s research has appeared in prestigious academic journals, such as the Harvard Business Review, Journal of International Marketing, International Marketing Review, Management International Review, Corporate Governance: An International Journal, and others. Ilan Alon’s research books on China include Huawei: Made in China for the World (Palgrave, forthcoming 2020) and Belt and Road Initiative (Palgrave, 2018).
