Kurt Norder

Biography

Kurt is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow focusing on business models for the Base of the Pyramid. His work explores the interaction of the internal configurations with the external contexts as it applies to strategy, organization, and innovation. Kurt recently completed his PhD in International Business from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. His dissertation work was an exploration of cross-border business model adaptation in response to the many pressures typical of the multinational environment. Prior to school, Kurt worked as a Finance Manager for General Electric. He is Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified and also holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University.
