SFU Beedie Academic Advisors are here to support you from the beginning to the end of your academic journey at SFU's Beedie School of Business. As academic advisors, we help you plan and meet your academic goals and overcome challenges when they arise. We believe appropriate strategies, resources, and support are integral to student success. We aim to support you in making informed decisions that align with your unique goals and priorities.

You will arrive at various milestones during your academic journey as you transition into a new environment, progress in your degree, and approach graduation. As academic advisors, we are committed to strategizing with you to develop personalized, achievable plans so you can achieve your goals.

With a strong online presence and academic advising services available at both Burnaby and Surrey campuses, our team engages in purposeful and meaningful dialogue with you to support your growth and success. Regular hours

Virtual: Mondays 1:30pm–3:30pm

In-person at SFU Surrey (SRY 5000): Tuesdays 1:30pm–3:30pm

In-person at SFU Burnaby (WMC 2330): Wednesdays 1:30pm–3:30pm

Peak periods

Please note that peak periods are the first three weeks of the term and during the enrolment period.

Virtual: Mondays 1:00pm–3:30pm and Fridays 9:30am–12:00pm

In-person at SFU Surrey (SRY 5000): Tuesdays 1:00pm–3:30pm

In-person at SFU Burnaby (WMC 2330): Wednesdays 1:00pm–3:30pm

  • Operation hours are in Pacific Standard Time (PST).
  • Please note that our office is closed on statutory holidays and when the university is closed.
