Engineering Science has a mandatory Co-op program. If you are unsure of when you should be seeking, contact your Co-op coordinator, check out the FAQ page, as well as the information provided in the Prep Canvas course.
You should be in the FAS Prep course. There are no deadlines to meet in this course, but the prep requirements must be completed in order to move onto the next stage in the co-op process which is SEEKING.
You will work with your Co-op coordinator all term to ensure that you meet the requirements and are eligible to be released to seek Co-op jobs at the beginning of the following term.
Once you have completed the Prep requirements and have been released to seek for co-op jobs on myExperience, you will be able to see job postings in myExperience for all the semesters you are eligible to seek for. At any given time, you may view and apply to jobs for multiple semesters as employers are starting to recruit more than 4 months in advance.
All important dates will be in the Seeking Canvas course.
The start and end time of your Co-op position will typically correlate with the start and end of the term.
All important dates will be in the Working Canvas course.
