Baharak Yousefi


Baharak is Head of Library Communications at Simon Fraser University. She serves as Director on the Board of British Columbia Libraries Cooperative and is a member of the Advisory Board of Kwi Awt Stelmexw. She received a Master of Arts in Women's Studies in 2003 from Simon Fraser University and a Master of Library and Information Studies in 2007 from University of British Columbia. Baharak’s research interests include feminist, community-led, and critical librarianship. She is co-editor of Feminists Among Us: Resistance and Advocacy in Library Leadership (forthcoming, Library Juice Press). Baharak lives on the unceded traditional lands of the Musqueam, Sḵwxwú7mesh, and Tsleil-Waututh people in Vancouver, BC.
