Jillian Stirk
ASSOCIATE, SFU CENTRE FOR DIALOGUE
Jillian Stirk is a former ambassador and public service executive who specialized in peace and security, human rights and multilateral negotiations. Since 2015 she has been co-leading a project on diversity and economic prosperity. The final report, The Diversity Dividend: Canada’s Global Advantage was published by the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation (PETF) and Centre for International Governance and Innovation (CIGI) in April 2017. She has served as a Mentor with the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation and is on the Board of the Forum for Young Canadians, of IC-IMPACTS (a Canada-India Research Centre which contributes to Sustainable Communities), and is a Trustee of the West Vancouver Memorial Library. She regularly speaks and writes about foreign policy and diversity issues, and volunteers with several community organizations.
