Introducing Cowork for Microsoft 365 Copilot
Microsoft 365 Copilot Cowork
The Microsoft 365 Copilot Cowork agent is now available for all faculty and staff who have a Microsoft 365 Copilot licence. Cowork is not pinned by default, so if you’d like to try it, you’ll need to visit the Agent Store and install it yourself. Once installed, Cowork becomes available across Microsoft 365 as an additional Copilot agent you can choose to work with.
Cowork is different from other Copilot agents because it’s designed to do work, not just respond to prompts. Instead of focusing on single tasks like drafting text or answering questions, Cowork can take a broader goal you describe, build a plan, and help move that work forward across your emails, meetings, files, and chat, checking in with you along the way and keeping you in control.
To see it in action, or learn more visit Copilot Cowork: A new way of getting work done.
Note: Cowork is currently in Frontier early access. Frontier includes early access to experimental features, which means features may change as Microsoft improves them.
