Project description: Developed as a critical design project for IAT 431, the Junior Naloxone Kit is a toy where children can learn to administer naloxone, a life-saving treatment against opioid overdose. This project draws attention to the toxic drug crisis.

Since 2016, over 30,000 deaths related to opioid toxicity have occurred in British Columbia. Communities associated with lower income, education, and unemployment have been linked to higher rates of opioid hospitalizations. With overdose deaths becoming more common, will even children need to learn how to respond?
