Come Celebrate SFU Blueberry Week 2022

Blueberry season has finally arrived—in honour of this special time of year, we're hosting our second annual Blueberry Week (July 25-29) on Burnaby campus. Check out the schedule below and come enjoy menu items created with locally grown, antioxidant packed, BC blueberries!

Dining Hall

Dining Hall is open to all students, faculty, staff, and the public! Stop by during Blueberry Week (July 25-29) to try out these chef created specials:

Monday (11am-2pm)

Antioxidant blueberry smoothie – made with yogurt, honey and oats

Tuesday (11am-2pm)

Crepes with blueberry compote

Wednesday (11am-2pm)

Fresh blueberries with ice cream 

Thursday (11am-2pm)

Blueberry flatbread – made with goat cheese, caramelized onions, blueberries, reduced balsamic glaze

Friday (11am-2pm)

Blueberry chocolate smores brownie – with a torched marshmallow on top, and drizzled with chocolate sauce and caramel sauce, whipped cream, strawberry compote, blueberries

Stop by Mackenzie Cafe in the AQ all week for limited time menu items made with BC blueberries: 

  • Fresh blueberry cups
  • Blueberry loaf (vegan)
  • Blueberry donuts
