Local Food

We take our commitment to supprting local seriously. An average of 30% - 40% of food procurement is currently local across Dining Services locations with a goal of reaching at least 50%. SFU Food is on a journey to celebrate local & seasonal foods and to support local suppliers and businesses. We're proud of our B.C. foods and are actively working to bring more of them to campus. 

What is local?

At SFU local is any food that is grown, caught, harvested, raised, or processed in British Columbia.
