PhD Program Structure
Designed to complement your individual background and research objectives, the PhD program consists of the following elements:
- qualifying exams
- research proposal submission and defence
- dissertation and oral defence
All incoming students are required to complete the doctoral component of GEOG 600, a seminar on graduate studies in Geography, offered each Fall term.
