Physics Undergrad wins SFU Service Award
May 31, 2022
Biophysics major Antonia Kowalewski was awarded the 2022 Yvonne & Ian Reddy Award for Community Services Supporting Sustainability, an SFU Service Award.
This award recognizes Antonia's work with Ban the Bottle SFU, which aims to raise awareness among the SFU community about the detrimental social, health, and environmental impacts of fresh water extraction and commercialization. Antonia has also been an active volunteer in the Physics Department, serving as a student representative on the IDEA team and as a Science and Math Peer Tutor for several years.
