GEP Girls Workshop
Girls Exploring Physics presents free workshops for girls in Grades 9 and 10 held at the SFU Burnaby campus. These workshops include two hands-on activity sessions in physics. They also include a tour of the new Trottier astronomical observatory and a discussion of the career opportunities available to students who study physics at the university level. Participants will have a chance to interact informally with women physics faculty and students from SFU throughout the workshop and during the free pizza lunch. The schedule of events and location for the next workshop are listed below.
We're hoping to offer our next in-person workshop in Fall 2021. Please check back then.
