Please note that the opening date for the Climbing Wall has been delayed until Wednesdasy, January 14th (previously scheduled to open on January 12th) due to floor refinishing in the Central Gymnasium.

NOTE: prices reflect the closures scheduled in the Gym such as Varsity events, exams and others. Prices are subject to applicable taxes.
Climbing Memberships and Day Passes are listed under "Memberships & Day Passes" on the SFU Rec Web Portal. 5x passes are listed under "Climbing Multi-Visit Passes".
*Students climb for $10 on Tuesdays - check back in January for the applicable promo code.
**10x passes have been discontinued. Passes purchased in the fall 2025 term will be valid through April 2, 2026.
Equipment Packages include climbing shoes, a harness and, if applicable, a belay device (must have passed belay check). *Equipment included with youth and family day passes.
Age Requirements:
- Children and youth between the ages of 6-13 years require adult supervision (19 years +) while at the SFU Climbing Wall and must adhere to the Climbing Wall Code of Conduct.
- The minimum age to belay at the SFU Climbing Wall is 14 years, except during specifically supervised sessions.
Refund Policy
Refunds for climbing wall memberships, day and multi-visit passes require approval by Recreation Administration.
Climbing memberships and 5x passes are valid for one term only and are non-transferable.
