Faculty & Staff Memberships
Full time, continuing faculty and staff are eligible for an SFU Burnaby Recreation Membership covered by employee benefits. Memberships unlock access to the Fitness Centre, drop-in and intramural sports and racquet courts.
Steps to Activate Your Burnaby Faculty or Staff Recreation Membership
- Log in to myinfo.sfu.ca.
- Select Personal Information Home > Forms > Athletics & Recreation Waiver > Complete your SFU Athletics & Recreation Waiver Now
- Read and agree to the waiver*
- Within one business day, your SFU ID Card and member ID on the SFU Recreation App will be connected to your membership.
* Cannot be completed in person. The waiver must be completed online every September to renew membership.
Postdoctoral Fellows: To activate your membership, please follow steps 1-3 above. Once the waiver is completed, please email the Recreation Office at rec@sfu.ca, including your full name and SFU ID number. A recreation staff member will complete the activation process.
Surrey Faculty & Staff: Please contact rec@sfu.ca for a list of Recreation opportunities available to full time, continuing emplyees of SFU Surrey campus.
Not a Full Time, Continuing Faculty or Staff Member?
If ineligible for a Recreation Membership covered by employee benefits, you can still enjoy all that SFU Recreation has to offer by purchasing a Community Membership or Program Pass (including Pilates, yoga, climbing, group fitness and more).
