Christine Tulloch, BA; Convocation Ceremony: Oct. 9, 2014  2:30 p.m.

Despite frail health from intensive leukemia treatments, Christine Tulloch’s spirit shines brightly. Recipient of the 2013 Terry Fox Gold Medal for her courage in the face of adversity, Tulloch has been steadfastly championing educational and mentorship opportunities for young cancer survivors. She has helped raise $40,000 through various groups inside and outside of SFU. Now she is creating a social networking app for cancer patients through her job at Curatio, a mobile patient-engagement platform. Tulloch plans on returning to SFU to pursue a master’s in clinical psychology and to continue to “make a difference in the lives of young cancer survivors”.
