Brianne Kent, a psychology professor at SFU, studies how sleep disturbances contribute to the progressive memory loss caused by Alzheimer’s disease. Kent has been named a Canada Research Chair in 2021 and will be receiving $350k in research funding from the John R. Evans Leaders Fund (JELF).
