close

3D printers can generate potentially harmful concentrations of ultrafine particulate and chemical vapours during the printing process and during processes leading up to and following printing.

When considering the installation or modification of a 3D printer, please consult EHS for assistance in conducting a risk assessment.

The 3D printer manual was developed to establish the minimum requirements for the safe use of 3D printers located at Simon Fraser University.

3D printers users must complete the online training module. Click here to enroll in the Canvas course
