There is a midterm and a final exam, each counting for 20% of the course grade. You are allowed to bring one sheet of standard-sized paper with whatever you wish to write on the front and back. You are also allowed/expected to bring a calculator.

The midterm exam was held on Monday, October 17, in class. Its answer key is now available.
Note that I am not necessarily covering the exact same material in exactly the same order as I did in previous years. So these are not “practice exams.” They are just “previous years' exams.” In addition,
please note that midterm exams before Fall 2009 were 3 hours long instead of the current 2 hours.
