Request a Workshop

The SVSPO offers free, on-demand workshops and outreach sessions for all members of the SFU and FIC communities (students and employees).

We will work with you to:

  • Adapt the session to meet the needs of your student, staff or faculty group
  • Identify ways to embed the session in existing curricula or programs
  • Determine the best delivery methods for your group

Please review the workshops listed below and complete the request form at the bottom of this page if you would like us to facilitate a session for your group. In addition to the standard sessions listed below, we can design customized sessions to achieve your desired learning outcomes.

Please note the following:

  • We generally require at least two weeks' notice for a workshop or presentation.
  • We will do our best to hold the session at your preferred time, but requests are subject to our education team members' availability.
  • We require a minimum attendance of 10 people for workshops.

If you have questions or concerns about these requirements, please contact a member of our education team. We would be happy to work with you to find the best solution for your group.
