Reading Room Hours

Following the new public health orders issued on November 7, 2020, SFU has moved back to H1 (from H2) on the COVID-19 Rating Scale. These orders limit use of the SFU Archives' Reading Room to members of the SFU community only. Offsite delivery of digital copies remains the preferred method of access for all researchers; appointments will be scheduled for members of the SFU community only when digitization is impracticable.

All reference inquiries must be submitted in writing to archives@sfu.ca. For members of the SFU community, an archivist will conduct a review and schedule an appointment for no sooner than 5 bussines days following the receipt of the request. For external researchers, an archivist will coordinate access to select digital copies until public health orders accomodate broader use of the Reading Room.

Researchers are asked to familiarize themselves with the Archives' Safety Plan prior to their scheduled visit.
