Great White Sharks: Environmental Assessments

Four SFU geography-archive undergraduate students, Karyn Nelson, Izzy Wang, Maggy Corrado and Briana Magnusson, presented their research at UBC on Nov 28. Their semester-long project on the endangered Great White Shark examined environmental assessments (EAs) for offshore drilling and other major projects in the Atlantic region to determine whether EAs are adequately considering sharks."
