GIS undergraduate students participate in the Canada-wide 2024 AppChallenge competition

GIS students Tiana Andjelic (BEnv) and Vincent Liu (CS) dedicated a full week of their Spring 2024 term to develop a GeoApp for the just concluded Canada-wide 2024 Esri Canada AppChallenge competition.
Their GeoApp “Urbantario” was motivated by the rapid process of urbanization and its impacts on the surrounding natural environment, with a focus on Southern Ontario, Canada.
