A new co-edited book by Shivanand Balram has now been published. "GIScience Teaching and Learning Perspectives" contains 10 chapters that link educational theories with the practice of GIScience teaching and learning in Canadian Higher Education contexts. Pedagogies, scientific skills training, online learning, geospatial literacy, employment prospects, and the fast-changing geospatial data and technology landscapes are some of the key issues examined. In addition, current GISience educational trends and future needs are explored with a forward-looking perspective.
