Response

After notifying the appropriate department, a representative will follow-up regarding the reported concern.  If the issue is considered an emergency, immediate action will be taken to protect building occupants.

In all cases, EHS will conduct a preliminary investigation by first talking to occupants to determine if the problem is a one-time event or if the source can be easily identified and resolved. For more complex issues, an assessment strategy will be developed based on discussion with the occupants.
