Types of Personal Information (PI) in the PIB
Types of personal information may include but are not limited to name, address, telephone number, employment history, educational history, third party opinions about the individual, individual’s own views or opinions.
Individuals included in the PIB
Individuals who file complaints against the University with the Office of the Provincial Ombudsperson. These complainants may be students, staff or faculty or they may be individuals external to the University.
Purposes for which PI collected, used and disclosed
Personal information is collected and used to formulate a response to a complaint filed with the Office of the Provincial Ombudsperson against the University.
Individuals using personal information or to whom it is disclosed
Personal information is used by the staff of the Office of the Vice-President Legal Affairs and the Office of the President. Personal information may be disclosed to the Office of the Provincial Ombudsperson.
