Not those Oscars … but in the world of wildlife photography, the BBC Veolia Environnement Wildlife Photographer of the Year Contest is regarded as just that!

Martin Cooper's photograph “On the tracks of the coyote” was Highly Commended in the “Urban Wildlife” category in the world’s most prestigious wildlife photography competition.  It was chosen from a total of 41,000 entries to be one of 108 winners of 2011.
