Congratulations, NATO Field School, for being awarded the highly competitive MINDS award. As this year's recipient, the NATO Field School adds another accolade to its impressive roster that cements the program as truly important in the realm of international security training.

SFU’s Department of Political Science and the School of Sustainable Energy recently came together to launch the brand-new Sustainable Energy Policy course (POL 452W/855/SEE 773), where political science students team up with engineering students to confront real-world policy challenges through interdisciplinary group projects. This course offers a template for such cooperation across SFU units.

Congratulations to MA political science student, Tatiana Parrish, on receiving the prestigious Graduate Studies Award for Excellence in Service! The Graduate Studies Award for Excellence is presented annually to a Simon Fraser University staff member or a graduate student who has showcased outstanding contribution towards graduate students’ journeys at SFU.
