Suzanne Norman is a Senior Lecturer in the Publishing Program, where she teaches courses on book publishing, digital publishing, and cultural entrepreneurship. Her research and interest areas include Indigenous Publishing, Accessible Publishing, Copyright Law, Artificial Intelligence, and Digital Media.

She is also the FCAT Champion for the Charles Chang Institute for Entrepreneurship and Publishing Industry Liaison. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Memorial University of Newfoundland, complemented by a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Communications and a Master of Publishing degree, both from SFU. Suzanne's career includes roles as an investigative journalist, a newspaper editor, and an editor specializing in young adult fiction.
