The SFU X-ray safety program facilitates and ensures safe use of X-ray Emitting Devices (XEDs) in research, teaching and the environment.
Training
Anyone working with X-ray Emitting Devices (XEDs) are required to complete institutional X-ray safety training. In addition, all users operating new equipment should receive instrument specific hands-on instruction and training prior to independently operating the equipement. If you have any questions, or are unsure about which training is appropriate for you, please contact the Program manager, Radiation Safety at: rso-info@sfu.ca.
