Living at SFU Residence is more than having a place to sleep, it is also about building lifelong friendships. See how living in residence has helped these six students connect, grow and learn together in ways that none of them could have imagined on the day that they moved-in.
When Do I Move-In?
Next Move-In: Tuesday, January 1st, 2019 - 12:00pm/Noon
Graduate Student: Please refer to your Residence Contract for your assigned Move-In date and time.*
To check in and get keys for your new home, please let us know approximately when you will be arriving by emailing email@example.com. When you arrive at the airport or close to arriving at the building, call the front desk at 778-782-4201. Our front desk staff will either connect with our on-site community advisors or Harbour Center Security to meet you at the building.
What if I Miss the Check-In Deadline?
If you don't move-in by the end of the first day of the SFU term, we will assume you are not arriving and your room will be offered to the next person on the wait list. Your room will be cancelled and you will lose your $700 non-refundable confirmation fee. Arrivals after the deadline can be approved with prepayment of your Residence fees. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange your late arrival.
Undergraduate Residence Orientation
If this is the first time you’ll be living at SFU Residence you will be automatically signed up for Residence Orientation. Returning residents and Grad residents are more than welcome to sign up for activities and connect with new members of the community.
