SFU’s Community-Engaged Research Initiative (CERi) is hosting its 2025 Workshop Series at 312 Main in Vancouver, featuring a lineup of in-person sessions from September 2025 to March 2026. Open to the public, these 90-minute workshops bring together scholars, practitioners, and community members to explore critical aspects of community-engaged research, including collaboration, ethics, positionality, decolonization, knowledge mobilization, and community partnerships. Led by experienced facilitators such as Dr. Stuart Poyntz, Dr. Dorothy Christian, and Dr. Hannah McGregor, the series provides practical insights, tools, and dialogue to strengthen equity-centered research practices. Participants can attend individual sessions that align with their interests, with limited seating available.
