2020-2021 annual report showcases and celebrates our highlights, purpose and strategy, impacts, and key numbers - an in-depth look at our progress as we continue to support community-engaged research (CER).

As CERi began its implementation phase in 2020, we have undergone extraordinary growth and change. We built-out an exceptional staff team and launched community-engaged research funding for faculty and students, a graduate fellowship program and a researcher-in-residence program. Despite the challenges of COVID-19, we have been able to keep to CERi’s development plan, including charting new projects to launch in 2021.

This Five-Year Report highlights the evolution of CERi’s programs, partnerships, and projects, from the 312 Main Research Shop and Indigenous Knowledge Research Exchange to collaborative initiatives addressing climate resilience, housing justice, and democratic engagement. Through our projects, publications and programs, we illustrate how CERi’s approach to co-creation, training, and knowledge mobilization advances a more inclusive and responsive university research culture.
