Pedagogies of Community Engagement Practice

SFU CERi is a proud partner of the Pedagogies of Community Engagement Collective. Developed through the Pedagogies of Community Engagement Practice research project - a community-based research project led by community-engaged facilitators for community-engaged facilitators - this website brings together collages, podcasts, videos, event recordings, and a Facilitator’s Guide to Community Engagement. Together, these resources explore the principles, tensions, and practices that shape community‑engaged facilitation and highlight the diverse approaches, questions, and wisdom shared by facilitators across sectors and fields of practice.  

This unique partnership brought together community-based non-profit organizations, academic researchers, and independent facilitators working in areas such as community arts, HIV and harm reduction, adult education, Indigenous Sovereignty, youth engagement and activism, anti-racist movements, and community-based research.
