This report highlights what scholars and practitioners see as opportunities and barriers to democratic pedagogies in higher education.

This report documents a half-day workshop on May 17, 2023 that brought together local organizations/groups, researchers, students, and community members to generate ideas for a ‘climate justice research shop’ - a service model where community organizations can work with students and/or faculty members to develop research projects that address climate-related research needs for free or at a reduced cost .

Experience the dynamic CERi-Participedia Summer School on "Radical Democracy" where leading experts, researchers, and graduate students joined forces with community leaders and activists to explore transformative ideas through workshops, discussions, and field trips. With 33 students from diverse social science disciplines and civil society backgrounds, they reimagined and practiced radical democracy for positive change in their communities and beyond, inspired by 29 guest faculty and practitioners, fostering new visions and impactful research.

This summary report details the key themes that emerged from the conference, the inspiring work happening across fields and tangible ideas for how to orient ourselves for the work ahead.
