We are excited to announce that NICHE will be hosting The 2nd International Historical Ecology meeting November 13-15, 2015 at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada. We will address the most important and groundbreaking questions for Historical Ecology while encouraging strong interdisciplinarity between the natural and social sciences and traditional knowledge systems.

In addition to the 1-day conference, scholars from different disciplines around the world will work together in a process that moves Toward 50 Questions for Historical Ecology and take part in various workshops. Everyone should fill out the quick survey and find out more about the project by touring the website.

All (students and faculty) are encouraged to submit abstracts HERE. Workshops on the second day of the meeting are open to all but will be facilitated by and for students.
