A message from Jane Pulkingham, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences

Congratulations on completing your degree and becoming an SFU graduate! I recognize that reaching this milestone has been no small feat. It has taken perseverance and dedication throughout your time at university.

Do not be daunted by the future. Rest assured that the skills you have practiced and refined will serve you well in the future.

Your ability to think critically, to create insights based on evidence, and to pursue deeper research are important assets. These will help you navigate your future through an ever-changing social, economic, and political landscape.

Now more than ever, the world needs your creativity and contributions.

As you join the ranks of outstanding FASS alumni, I hope you feel a stronger sense of community and belonging at SFU.
