SFU political science congratulates its 2021 undergraduate award winners

The Department of Political Science recognizes the achievements of Kirat Gill, Maja Lampa, and Jean-Luc Periera who have all received 2021 undergraduate awards.

Kirat Gill received the Pauline Jewett Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded at the end of every spring term to the student who has the highest CGPA among political science majors and who has surpassed 90 units during that term. To be eligible, the student must have taken at least two 200 division and at least three senior (300 or 400 division) courses in SFU’s Department of Political Science. The scholarship is valued at $1400.

Maja Lampa won The Robert Stanfield Book Prize. This prize is awarded annually in the summer term to an outstanding student graduating with an honours in political science It is valued at $700.

Jean-Luc Periera received The Rama Reddy Political Science Award. This cash prize is awarded annually in the summer term to the student with the highest CGPA graduating with an honours or major in political science. This award is valued at $1400.

The SFU political science faculty and staff congratulate these award winners on their academic achievements and thank them for their contributions to the Department and SFU community.
