Join our CERi fellows to learn more about the exciting fundamentals of community-engaged research.

Workshop 1: Community-Engaged Research Methods and Methodologies Workshop

Community-engaged research draws on a rich diversity of methods because it reflects the diverse knowledge, priorities, cultures, and lived experiences of communities. Through examples and case studies, this workshop will explore approaches such as participatory action research, storytelling, arts-based inquiry, community mapping, peer research, and Indigenous methodologies. Participants will consider how different methods can support meaningful participation, shared knowledge creation, and research that responds to community priorities and contexts.
