Areas of interest
I am a geological engineer from Colombia with professional experience in geomechanics, working on rock slopes, underground excavations, and mining projects. My research focuses on 3D numerical modelling of rock slope deformation. My work aims to better understand how complex rock mass structures influence slope stability and progressive failure. This research is motivated by the need to improve safety and long-term performance of slopes in infrastructure and mining projects, particularly in regions with challenging geology.
