John & Alexis Clague Undergraduate Award in Earth Sciences
The John & Alexis Clague Undergraduate Award in Earth Sciences:
Two or more awards, valued at a minimum of $5,000 each, will be granted annually in any term to undergraduate students who meet the following criteria:
- are enrolled full-time in a bachelor's degree program in the Department of Earth Sciences in the term of eligibility;
- have completed a minimum of 60 SFU units;
- are in good academic standing; and
- have demonstrated community or volunteer service.
Applications must include:
- a statement outlining the applicant's community or volunteer service activities; and,
- a letter of reference from someone who can verify the community or volunteer service and the impact of the applicant's role in that service.
The award will be granted by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee upon the
nomination of the Chair, Department of Earth Sciences.
