Led by undergraduate students with the support of SFU's Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, the FASS Undergraduate Research Symposium is centred on highlighting and celebrating the diversity and interdisciplinarity of FASS undergraduate research.

Why be a student speaker or poster session presenter?

There are a lot of advantages to participating in the symposium as a speaker or presenter! 

  • Share your research work in front of a supportive audience
  • Hone your public speaking and presentation skills
  • Connect with and gain valuable feedback from faculty members and like-minded peers 
  • Receive a recognition on your Co-Curricular Record (CCR), an official university document that tracks your co-curricular involvement at SFU

The FASS Undergraduate Research Symposium will take place March 25 (Wed), 12:30 - 4:00pm at SFU Burnaby. 

Open to all SFU students, faculty, and staff. Whether you're a student interested in meeting others with similar interests or a first-year curious about research possibilities, you are welcome to join us!
