Biography

Kathryn is a third generation Settler Canadian living, working, and playing on the ancestral and unceded traditional territory of the Kwikwetlem peoples. She works at the First Nations Health Authority where she leads a team of health professionals and data analysts in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of a complex First Nations health survey project. Prior to this role, she worked with the Office of the Chief Medical Officer as a Manager of Population Health and Wellness and was responsible for leading population health reporting projects. Kathryn has also worked in a management capacity with the UBC Centre for Excellence in Indigenous Health. She has a background in primary health care and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Simon Fraser University with a focus on social inequities in health. She has a husband and 4-year-old daughter with whom she enjoys riding her bicycle, regardless of the weather.
